The standard service scenario on ATMs involves authorizing the customer using their card and PIN-code. Once authorized, the customer can withdraw cash from their account linked to the inserted card and perform other actions. With an authorized ATM Web Code, the customer can access their bank products such as cards, deposits, loans, and perform transactions.

ATM Web Code allows customers to use an ATM as a functional analog of Internet banking. ATM interface can be used for delivering the personal services:

• events feed,
• payments and transfers templates,
• information about all bank products,
• cash withdrawal and pay utility bills from any bank product, not only from the inserted card,
• applying for or canceling any bank service and many others.

Managing ad campaigns on ATMs

Banks commonly face problems when displaying advertisements on ATM screens, such as:

• Technical staff involvement in deploying or replacing ad content.
• Inability to obtain campaign statistics.
• The marketing team's limitation to using only static images without hosting interactive content.

However, integrating ATM Web Code with the ADV Code solution can address all of these issues:

• Ad content can vary can vary from static images to interactive web scenarios or advertisements on the second screen.
• Advertising can be targeted by ATM location (even to a single device), customer category, payment amount, and other parameters.
• The solution can demonstrate personalized offers on ATMs. If the personal offers are requested online, integration with the bank's CRM system is necessary. If the offers are pre-created, they can simply be uploaded to the ADV Code storage. Pre-approved offers are linked to unique customer IDs and do not contain any personal customer data.

Payment acceptance

ATM Web Code enables banks to use an ATM screen as an interface for accepting payments to an unlimited number of utility service providers. This does not require updating of any ATM settings or performing other actions. The tree of utility services, payment acceptance scenarios, fees, messages to bank customers, search tags, and all other parameters are specified on the Operation server via the dedicated application – Operation Studio. Based on these data the screens and scenarios of payments acceptance are generated in ATM Web Code. Payments can be accepted with cards or in cash if the ATM can accept it. Publishing new payment scenarios over an ATMs network usually takes a few minutes.

Modern user interface

ATM Web Code can “cover” regular NDC (DDC) screens with attractive web pages and dynamically generate web-interfaces for customer service scenarios.

The solution is tolerant to connection quality and perfectly suits for operation in “thin” channels. The visualization level in ATM Web Code is separated from the server part of the solution. This means, each bank can design a unique UI, without affecting the server components. ATM interfaces can be prepared with any HTML editor, so this work can be done by bank employees.
